So since this is my first blog post EVER, I assume it would be appropriate to properly introduce myself.

Now that that's out of the way, let's get down to the reason I started this blog. I have had a desire to blog for quite some time now, but was having trouble deciding what my main focus should be. I graduated in May 2009 with a bachelor's degree in food and nutrition and am currently enrolled in a program to obtain my holistic nutrition consulting certificate. I even read nutrition books in my spare time (my college roommate once caught me reading "A Guide to the New Food Guide Pyramid" strictly for entertainment). Therefore, I thought it made the most sense to focus specifically on health and nutrition.
However, I also spend hours researching and testing out various beauty products and wanted to share my opinions and discoveries with others. So I thought hey, why not combine health, nutrition and beauty into one simple little blog? And here I am today...
